Terms and Conditions

1.0 Introduction

The purpose of this Terms & Conditions (this “Agreement”) is to set out rights and obligations and other necessary matters between the Members and Besta.com.sg (the “Site”). This Site is operated by Inventec Besta CO., LTD. (the “Company”).

By accessing the Site, you confirm your understanding of the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions of use, you shall not use this website. The Site reserves the right, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms and Conditions of use at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on the Site with no other notice provided. You had been urged to check these Terms and Conditions of use from time to time. Your continue use of the Site following the posing of changes to these Terms and Conditions of use constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

2.0 User Submissions

Anything that you submit to the Site and/or provide to us, including but not limited to, questions, reviews comments and suggestions (collectively, “Submissions”), you grant us the right to use the name, comments and reviews that you submit to the Site, and the Submissions will become our sole and exclusive property and shall not be returned to you.

Payment made through online transactions is carried out by our appointed third party Payment Gateway Supplier. The Site and Company will not capture any information of your payment medium. We will only track down your contact details for shipping and after sales service purposes.

3.0 Order Acceptance and Pricing

Please take note that there are cases when an order cannot be processed for various reasons. The Site reserves the rights to refuse or cancel any order for any reason at any given time. Before an order being accepted, you might need to provide additional verification or information, including but not limited to valid contact number and full mailing address.

We are working our best to provide most accurate information and pricing on the Site to our users; however errors may still occur, such as cases when the price of an item is not displayed correctly on the website. As such, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card or bank account charged. We will either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. Amount paid for such transaction will be fully refund/revert to your bank account/credit card in case of any cancellation occur.

The price shown in the Site excludes the cost of packaging and delivery charges, any applicable goods and service tax, value added tax or similar tax, which the Buyer shall be liable to pay to the Company in addition to the price.

4.0 Privacy and Protection of Personal Information

a.) The Company does not sell or rent member personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without member’s explicit consent.
b.) We may share your personal information with:

  1. Third-party service providers under contract who help with our business operations, and perform functions on our behalf.
    Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links(including paid listings and links), processing credit card payments, investigating frauds and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
  2. Law enforcement or other governmental officials, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity. In such events, we will disclose information relevant to the investigation, such as name, city, postal code, telephone number, email address, User ID history, IP address, fraud complaints, and purchasing and listing history;
  3. Brand Protection Program participants under confidentiality agreement, as we in our sole discretion believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity. In such events, we will disclose name, street address, city, postal code, country, phone number, email address and company name; and
  4. Other business entities, should we plan to merge with or be acquired by that business entity. (Should such a combination occur, we will require that the new combined entity follow this privacy policy with respect to your personal information. If your personal information will be used contrary to this policy, you will receive prior notice.)
